Finding those in need of help
One of our greatest challenges is identifying those people who may need our assistance. On occasions, people are understandably reticent to ask for help. And the dependants of former ROC members might not realise that they too are eligible for assistance. So our challenge is growing and maintaining a high profile, so that those in need, hardship or distress are able to get the help for which they are eligible, when it matters most.
As a supporter of the ROCBF, you have an important role to play in helping us to grow and maintain our public profile. We have designed an ‘outreach toolkit’ so that you can help us in our important work. It contains items such as downloadable posters and flyers, which you can print off at home to display at an event you might be attending, or on your own website, in town and village halls, local doctors’ surgeries and so on.
We would be so grateful for your help and support with this important task. And if you have any other ideas as to how we could reach out to former members of the ROC and dependants, please do let us know - our contact details can be found here.
Ways to give
Providing help and assistance to those in need is an important role.
Our Board of Managing Trustees and other partner organisations, such as SSAFA, work hard to ensure that every pound we receive is well spent, just as you would want it to be. The information (below) sets out how you can give to the Fund.
Online donations may be made by using our secure online system.
Donate via cheque or postal order
Cheques or postal orders should be made payable to “ROCBF” and sent to the address below. All donations will be acknowledged.

In memoriam donations
In lieu of flowers at funerals, relatives or friends often ask that a donation be made to a charity of their choice. This can be organised by the undertaker or can be made by cheque through relatives or direct to the ROCBF. In all instances we will ensure that, where we have the details, we will write to thank the donors for their contribution.
